On Tuesday night, Aquino posted a photo of her with sister Ballsy and their parents, former president president Corazon C. Aquino and the former senator.

Kris said the photo was taken months before the assassination of the late politician in August 1983.
"Taken a couple of months before our father was assassinated... bakit ate & me lang? because at that time, camera shy talaga si Pinky, Noy, and Viel... in loving remembrance of the 1st man who gave me the courage & the wings to believe in my dreams, together with all my love for the woman who instilled in me, the backbone to make sure my childhood wishes became reality," Kris wrote in the caption.

Aquino Jr. 27 November 1932-21 August 1983," Kris added.

"My dad was killed when he was only 50 years old... my mom saw my 1st commercial, 1st tv show, and the 1st movie- all those 'firsts' that the man carrying me here always said would one day happen. Ang mom pagsasabihan pa sya, “dad, don’t get her hopes up.” But HE would whisper to me “beautiful, you’ll be on tv and starring in movies, and signing autographs,'” Kris recalled.
