The multiple personalities of Jane (Judy Ann Santos) finally unraveled in front of Cardo (Coco Martin), including the “Kuya” alter ego behind the serial killings he has been investigating, in the August 19 episode of “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.”

The suspect Cardo had been looking for was hiding in plain sight. Despite having formed a close friendship with Jane, he was oblivious to her multiple personality disorder.

However, his investigation established a trail that led to Jane. In disbelief, Cardo only made sense of the situation when Jane switched personalities thrice before his eyes.

Jane, whose trauma from sexual abuse in her younger years triggered her condition, was soon overwhelmed by the fiercely protective “Kuya” who then tried to shoot Cardo.

She was stopped by Amir (Arron Villaflor), who shot Jane multiple times to her death. With her dying breath, she thanked Cardo and asked for forgiveness.

Santos’ guest appearance in “Ang Probinsyano” marked the rare coming together of showbiz royalties. Santos is dubbed the “Teleserye Queen,” while Martin, the male counterpart.
