Marjorie Barretto has demanded that critics of her daughter Julia Barretto "stick to the facts," after a viral post insinuated that the young actress shared a hotel room with Gerald Anderson.

On Instagram this Wednesday, Marjorie brought attention to the said post highlighting the dates of two photos showing Julia and Anderson at Segara Suites in Subic last April.

Marjorie noted that while true, the two were at the particular hotel to film scenes for their movie, "Between Maybes." She added that the co-stars had separate rooms during their stay.

"Let's stick to the facts," she wrote as the caption.

Marjorie explained that her daughter shot scenes with Anderson for "Between Maybes" on April 12. She then pointed out that Julia was at a photoshoot for her zombie movie, "Block Z," the next day.

The pair of photos went viral after speculations regarding Julia and Anderson swirled online over the weekend, when the latter's known girlfriend, Bea Alonzo, hinted of infidelity.

Julia, Anderson, Alonzo, as well as Joshua Garcia (Julia's former boyfriend) have yet to release statement to clarify the rumors.

Marjorie has already bared her plans to take legal action against the person who claimed that Julia and Anderson attended the party of actor Rayver Cruz together last Saturday.

She described the photo, which the person used as evidence to support her claim, as "harmless."
