MANILA – “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” is not ending anytime soon.

In a Push report published Sunday, lead actor Coco Martin debunked speculation that the show will end by early next year. “Wala pa talagang definite plan kung kailan siya matatapos,” he insisted.

Now approaching its third year on air in September, “Ang Probinsyano” continues to introduce new characters and twists in its storyline.

“Napakahaba pa ng tatakbuhin ng kuwento,” said Martin, who is also one of the show’s directors.

In a statement on Wednesday, ABS-CBN also clarified that “Ang Probinsyano” is far from its conclusion, pointing out that the show remains to have a large audience.

Martin went on to assure fans that “Ang Probinsyano” will remain on air as long as there are viewers who still look forward to the Primetime Bida program.

He said: “Kapag naramdaman namin na wala na kaming kuwentong maibibigay, kailangan na naming tapusin. Pero hangga’t tinatangkilik pa siya ng mga tao, hanggga’t may maibiigay pa kaming kwento, hangga’t nakaka-inspire pa kami ng mga tao, nandiyan pa din ang ‘Ang Probinsyano.’”
