MANILA - Kapamilya actress Liza Soberano on Saturday shared pictures of her injured finger following another surgery, saying it would "never function the same way again."

The 21-year-old actress made the announcement on Instagram, where she uploaded graphic photos of her crooked finger that is now being supported by a metal brace.

"Finally done with my last procedure in hopes of fixing my finger. Unfortunately it will never function the same way again but at least it's there!" Soberano wrote on the caption of her Instagram post.

Soberano backed out from starring as the new "Darna" after she sustained a fracture on her right index finger earlier this year while filming action-adventure series "Bagani."

She flew to the United States to undergo surgeries earlier this month.

Soberano suffered from anxiety attacks shorty before her surgery, but the operation turned out to be successful, the actress' aunt Jonie earlier told ABS-CBN News.

Her doctors said it would take at least 2 weeks before the Kapamilya star could recover from the surgery and fly back to the Philippines.
