The first contestants to go head-to-head in Saturday's Battle Rounds of "The Voice Teens 2" were from the team of apl.de.ap.

They were Isang Manlapaz and Mimi Mondejar, who sang their cover of the OPM classic, "Saan Ako Nagkamali."

Their coach praised them for upping their level of performance from their blind auditions, and the way they helped each other to put on an amazing rendition of the Tillie Moreno hit.

In the end, apl.de.ap chose Manlapaz to keep in his team for the next round, the Knockouts.

None of the other coaches used the "steal" privileges to try and save Mondejar from elimination.

The new "The Voice Teens" episode aired on the Kapamilya Channel, which is mainly available through cable providers such as Sky.

It airs at 7:30 p.m. on Saturdays and 7 p.m. on Sundays.
