MANILA - Singer Erik Santos shared a bit of what happened when he bumped into his former girlfriend, actress Rufa Mae Quinto, at the backstage of "It's Showtime" last Wednesday.

Santos was one of the judges of "Tawag ng Tanghalan," while Quintos was one of the celebrity guests of the noontime program.

"Sinadya ko talaga pumunta sa backstage to say hello," admitted Santos in an interview on "Tonight with Boy Abunda."

He added: "Sandali lang naman po iyong pag-uusap namin eh at puro tawanan lang. Alam mo naman si Rufa Mae, kapag nakita mo parang laging hindi seryoso, tawa lang ng tawa."

Santos said that he is invited to Quinto's November 25 wedding with her non-showbiz Filipino-American fiance Trev Magallanes. It will be held at the Ortigas branch of The Blue Leaf Events Place, a report from the Philippine Daily Inquirer said.

Meanwhile, Santos denied that his rumored girlfriend Angeline Quinto got jealous when he met with Quintos. "Wala naman po akong naramdaman na ganoon," he said.

He said that Quinto is currently busy with her projects. He also revealed that they have been spending less time together as Quinto prefers to focus on her career. "Pero almost everyday ay we text naman," Santos said.
