To fans of Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera, it seems like a stroke of destiny — having similar descriptions on their respective yearbook photos, nearly a decade before they met and eventually tied the knot.

The comparison was initially made in 2015 in an Instagram post, which recently started making the rounds again online. The image, from a fan page dedicated to Dantes, shows the actor's page in the 1998 yearbook of Ateneo de Manila University, his high school alma mater; and edited to include Rivera's, from the 2005 yearbook of De La Salle University Dasmariñas, where she studied Pyschology.

In part, the description of Dantes's gradution photo reads: "When you've got the face that has launched a thousand ships, it's rather difficult to be a humble person. But that's exactly what sets Dingdong apart from the rest."

The yearbook description of Rivera, seven years later, turned out to include the same idiom: "A face that could launch a thousand ships — that's what most people has to say."
