MANILA — Former actress Lindsay Custodio is still in the process of coming to terms with the death of her husband — admittedly a difficult undertaking which she has “surrendered” to her faith.

Custodio’s husband of nearly two decades, former Tanauan Vice Mayor Julius Caesar Platon II, died in November 2018 due to a heart attack.

They have two children together.

“By God’s grace, the kids and I are ok. I am trying to stay strong for my children,” she told PEP.ph. “It’s very hard to be without my husband Julius, but I have no choice but to accept the reality that he’s gone.”

She went on: “They say that there’s a reason for everything, and that everything happens according to God’s will.

“I couldn’t understand the reason why but I trust and believe in the Lord. I surrendered everything to Him and to Our Lady.”

Custodio, who rose to fame as one of the cast members of “Ang TV,” would have celebrated her 19th wedding anniversary with Platon in December.
