MANILA - A 16-year-old from Cebu surprised the judges of "Idol Philippines" with her rapping skills.

Jehramae Trangia performed both the rap and singing parts of the song "Hari ng Tondo," originally recorded by Gloc-9 and Denise Barbacena.

"I enjoyed it very much actually. Na-surprise ako doon sa may pa-rap, hindi ko ine-expect na nagra-rap ka. Ikaw pa lang 'yung nakita ko na hindi mo napabayaan 'yung pagkanta. At the same time, maganda mo na-deliver 'yung rap," Regine Velasquez told Trangia.
