"Pero na-realize ko hindi ako nabiyayaan ng regalo sa pagkanta. Pero napansin ko din talaga ang aking keen for rhythym and timing," Gloc-9 admitted. "Nung bata pa ako mahilig na talaga ako sumali sa mga slogan writing contest so napansin ko baka puwede ako mag-rap."

He considers Magalona as one of his idols when it comes to rap music. "Dahil ako po ay tagahanga ni Francis M --at nagkataon lang po na ako'y nakapag-rap din-- dahil sa kanya, ako ay nakasulat ng lyrics na ginagamit ko," he said.

Gloc-9 is set to officially launch his new album "Sukli" on June 5 at Market, Market! It will be available on online stores worldwide on the same day, and at all record bars nationwide starting June 6. It will also be streamed exclusively on Spotify beginning May 29.
