You see them bicker and fight over talented teens this season, all in an effort to win the first "The Voice Teens." But for Bamboo Mañalac, there's one coach who is a tad more competitive than the rest of them.

In an interview on "Tonight with Boy Abunda" on Thursday, Mañalac said that Lea Salonga is more competitive than he, Sarah Geronimo, and Sharon Cuneta.

It was one of the few questions he was asked about the talent show, which he said he enjoys working on. The former Rivermaya vocalist explained that he feels happy whenever he gets the opportunity to help young artists develop their talent.

"That's a gift of the show. It changes lives. And you know that as a coach so you are invested in these kids," he said.

Mañalac made an appearance on the late-night talk show to promote his upcoming concert, Manila X Style + Music Festival 2017, at Global Circuit Event Grounds, Makati City on Saturday.
