MANILA – Janus del Prado came to the defense of Angel Locsin whose sincerity in helping other people is being attacked by her bashers.

On Instagram on Saturday, del Prado attested to Locsin’s kindness which he personally experienced a few years ago.

“Naalala ko dati nung nagka tigdas ako way back 2014, ikaw lang sa mga kakilala ko sa industriya ang nag-offer ng tulong at malasakit. Sinagot mo na nga hospital bill ko, nagpupumilit ka pa dumalaw kahit bawal kasi naka-quarantine ako sa hospital. Hehe. Baliw ka talaga. Salamat sa malasakit at sa pagkakaibigan," he said.

Del Prado reminded Locsin that she shouldn’t mind her detractors because what’s important is the fact that people close to her know that she’s a good person.

“Sa mga bumatikos sayo at gusto kang tapusin, paps. Wag mo na lang sila pansinin. Kilala ka naman ng mga taong malalapit sayo at yung pagtingin namin sayo ang importante. Sabi ng mga trolls at bashers, pakitangtao ka lang daw. Pero di nila alam na madami ka natutulungan na di nababalita. Gaya ko paps,” he said.

Del Prado also had a witty response to people tagging Locsin as a member of the NPA.

“Sa mga nagsasabing NPA ka, di lang nila alam ang totoo, na NBA ka. Turn around fade away dunk! Labyu paps,” he said.

Del Prado and Locsin have worked both on TV and the big screen in projects such as “The Legal Wife” and “Four Sisters and a Wedding.”
