MANILA -- Unlike many celebrities who prefer to keep their private romantic lives a secret, it appears Sammie Rimando, a member of the "It's Showtime" girl group, GirlTrends, has no problem with admitting her relationship with Arjo Atayde.

They were first linked with each other in June last year, after she was spotted holding hands with the actor. Both have remained tightlipped about it, however, with Atayde requesting for privacy.

In her interview on DZMM this Thursday, Rimando didn't share her boyfriend's reservations, quickly answering the question about whether they are together with a simple, "opo."

She was so upfront about that it seemed to have caught host Ariel Ureta by surprise, who had to ask her again just to make sure.

It remains unclear when the two started dating.

They have been very secretive of their relationship, with both seemingly opting not to post any photos with each other on social media. Atayde did speak about being "happy" with his love life in September.

Rimando was on the radio show to promote an upcoming episode of "Ipaglaban Mo" this Saturday, in which she will play a girl whose father was murdered.
