MANILA — Television host and VJ Robi Domingo turned emotional as he remembered the moment when his mother network, ABS-CBN, signed off after the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) ordered the network to stop its broadcast operations.

In an Instagram post on Thursday, Domingo shared a clip from a “MYX It Up” episode with fellow MYX VJ Ai dela Cruz.

“I remember where I started and I remember how hard it is to produce one show and one event. And having said that one naalala ko ang mga employees, ang mga crew and their families who are going to be affected. So it was hard seeing that one shutdown, as in nung sinabi na ‘hanggang sa muli, Kapamilya,’” shared Domingo, who also asked the experience of dela Cruz.

Seeing it is very different, like all our lives nabuhay tayo, kapag pumunta tayo sa Channel 2 may napapanood tayo, pagkabata natin doon natin in-spend with our Sunday cartoons, with our family kapag may pinapanood kayo together. Tapos biglang makikita mo, now when you go to Channel 2, it’s black,” Ai wrote.
