The couple shared their anniversary greetings for each other on their respective Instagram pages on Thursday, May 7.

Marini, who revealed that they were planning to have a renewal of vows, described Pizarras as her “strong and mighty lover.”

“We would’ve had our renewal of vows today, the way you were planning it at the beginning of the year; it would be unannounced with only a handful of people, only those who are dear to us. There would be steak and seafood, 'coz we didn’t get to eat much of that steak on our wedding dinner 20 years ago. This morning, I woke up with nothing of what we planned. But I woke up with you, I woke up to you... and there is no other way I would want to spend this day. To wake up with you and to be held by you many times in a day is enough, more than enough. I pray that our children see the value of marriage by how we lived ours,” Marini wrote in the caption of her post.

Years after years the magic never stopped. 20 years na tayo honey and I'm so blessed by God to have shared this past 2 decades with you. Thank you for the love, encouragement, patience, etc... and for our beautiful smart kids. I love you so much,” Pizarras wrote.
