MANILA β€” Kapuso, not just Kapamilya stars, have joined the growing chorus condemning the government closure of ABS-CBN's broadcast operations, flooding social media with hearts in the color of the network's iconic logo.

As the Kapamilya network signed off Tuesday in compliance with cease and desist order from the National Telecommunications Commission, personalities from rival station GMA-7, too, were among those who expressed support for ABS-CBN's continued service.

The show of solidarity ranged from calling out the attack on press freedom, to messages of hope that ABS-CBN will overcome the challenge β€” most of them with heart emojis in red, green, and blue, symbolizing the network.
