MANILA — At first playful, even making an impromptu call to DJ Loonyo, Ivana Alawi eventually turned serious on the topic of entering a relationship again, amid the popularity of her "love team" with the social media personality.

The Kapamilya actress was asked about her status with DJ Loonyo in her latest YouTube vlog, where she answers questions sent by her followers.

Many of them, her sister Mona noted, pertained to the real score between Ivana and DJ Loonyo. His participation as Ivana's pretend boyfriend in a recent prank on her mother sparked what's now been dubbed "Loovana" online.

Responding to whether "Loovana" has bled into real life, Ivana opted to call DJ Loonyo, without him knowing their conversation is being recorded, to share a glimpse of how they are in real life.

"Ano'ng meron sa atin?" Ivana asked him at one point. The question, however, appeared to clue in DJ Loonyo that he was part of another prank. The giggling Mona beside Ivana all but confirmed DJ Loonyo's suspicion.

Without confirming nor denying she is romantically involved with DJ Loonyo, Ivana, after the call, opened up about her hesitation to jump into another relationship after a previous heartbreak.

"Para sa akin, wala namang masama na magkaroon ka ng special someone, or someone na magpapasaya sa 'yo araw-araw in small ways," she said.

"Sobrang naa-appreciate ko si DJ Loonyo kasi ang dami kong natututunan sa kaniya. Sobrang bait niya at sobrang nakaka-inspire siya, hindi lang sa akin, kung 'di sa maraming tao," she said, mentioning the fact that they were first acquainted five years ago.

While that's the case, Ivana said she has learned a lesson from the last relationship she had.

"Sobrang maingat ako ngayon sa puso ko, so hindi siya porke't kinikilig ako nang kaunti, ibibigay ko na agad ang puso ko. I think process siya. Kailangan na ma-feel ko na, 'Ay, gusto ko na ang taong 'to.' At gusto rin niya ang pamilya ko," she said.

In an earlier part of the vlog, Ivana revealed that a butterfly tattoo on her back symbolizes "rebirth" — that is, managing to move on from the heartbreak her former boyfriend caused.

"After ko masaktan doon sa ex ko, sabi ko, 'From now on, hindi ko na ibibigay agad ang puso ko.' Oo, kikiligin ako. Oo, magiging open pa rin ako sa mga manliligaw, pero hindi ko agad ibibigay buong puso ko," Ivana explained.

"Siguro, ligawan mo muna ako, ligawan mo muna ang pamilya ko, and then we'll see. I think my heart is too broken to just give it away again," she said.
