MANILA – JK Labajo has finally decided to stop looking for his biological father.

In a series of Instagram Stories which were captured by LatestChika.com last Thursday, Labajo said he learned that his father’s name is Oliver Stolz and he is apparently from Munich, Germany.

“Years ago, natulungan ako ni kuya bonnie ko na mahanap ang number ng tatay ko. We have been trying to reach out to him but got no response,” he said.

While this was the case, Labajo said he learned last week that his father made a WhatsApp account around November last year.

“I messaged him two days ago asking if he was Oliver Stolz. The messages got delivered. Today, I tried to message him again just to see that he blocked me,” he said.

This prompted him to conclude his search of his biological father.

“His bio says ‘Life is beautiful.’ I guess he has a family now and he definitely doesn’t want me to be part of it,” he said.

On Friday, Labajo clarified that he is not hurt or sad that he didn’t get to be with his father growing up because he received so much love from those who raised him.

The “Bwan” singer, however, explained why it was painful not to have his father around.

“Ang pinakamasakit lang para sa akin ay yung wala siya sa mga panahong sobrang kinailangan siya ng nanay ko. Hanggang sa huli niyang hingalo, hindi man lang siya nagpakita,” he said.

Labajo lost his mother to cancer at an early age.

He was 13 when he ventured into show business after joining the first edition of “The Voice Kids.”
