MANILA – “The Story of Us” star Kim Chiu nearly walked out on the set of the Sunday late-night talk show “Gandang Gabi Vice.”

The show’s host, comedian Vice Ganda, mentioned to Chiu that they initially planned on giving her a pet dog as she marks her 10th year in show business.

“Mahilig ka ba sa aso?” Vice Ganda asked Chiu, who replied, “May aso ako, pero okay lang.”

When asked about her favorite dog, the actress said: “Pomeranian.”

Vice Ganda went on to ask Chiu about animals that she doesn’t like.

“Pusa,” she immediately said. “Na itim, na yellow ‘yung mata.”

It turned out that the conversation was part of Vice Ganda’s prank – a man dressed up as a cat approached Chiu from behind, causing the actress to scream.

Chiu then waved to the studio audience and attempted to walk out of the show.

But she eventually returned on stage after Vice Ganda joked, “Uy, magpro-promote ka pa!”
