MANILA — National Artist for Music Ryan Cayabyab kicked off his Facebook Live concert on Thursday on a nostalgic note, with a rendition of the "Sineskwela" theme song which he wrote for the '90s educational TV show.

The music veteran is one of the founding performers of "Bayanihan, Musikahan," an online concert series featuring Filipino artists that aims to raise funds for frontliners and the most vulnerable sectors amid the coronavirus crisis.

On Thursday, Cayabyab explained that the order of artists will be determined by an invitation from a previous performer, with the goal of at least one singer going live per day from their own Facebook page.

Cayabyab invited the following: Ebe Dancel, Sponge Cola, Karylle, and Top Suzara.

In his own concert, Cayabyab performed a number of his iconic compositions, including "Limang Dipang Tao", "Kailan", and "Can This Be Love".
