MANILA – The teaser for the upcoming “Maalaala Mo Kaya” (MMK) episode starring Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson has been released.

Uploaded in the official ABS-CBN YouTube page, the 30-second teaser shows Chiu’s and Anderson’s characters as former lovers who reunited after being separated for six years.

In a previous interview, Anderson said it feels good to do an “MMK” episode with Chiu again because it reminds him of when they were still starting in showbiz.

“It’s our second time to do an ‘MMK’ episode, kami ni Kim. Nakagawa kami ng ‘MMK’ dati noong bago pa kaming labas ng ‘PBB.’ That was a great experience. Isa 'yun sa mga pinaka-proud moments ko of my career kasi nakagawa na ako ng ‘MMK,’” he said.

Viewers first saw Chiu and Anderson on television in 2006 when they joined the very first teen edition of “Pinoy Big Brother.”

Chiu was named big winner while Anderson placed third runner-up, but this was just the beginning for the two teens.

They also eventually became a real-life couple, much to the delight of their avid supporters.

In 2010, Chiu and Anderson starred in the movie “Till My Heartaches End,” which premiered a few months after they announced their break-up amid controversies surrounding their relationship.

The two did not reunite until 2012 for Star Cinema's “24/7 in Love.”

Four years later, Chiu and Anderson are making a comeback as a love team with this “MMK” episode and their upcoming series, “Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin.”

Their “MMK” episode is set to air on March 18.
