Marvin Agustin was one of the people who remembered Rico Yan on what would have been the late actor's 44th birthday.

Marvin Agustin paid tribute to late actor Rico Yan on what would have been his 44th birthday.

On Instagram this Thursday, Agustin posted a promotional photo for the 1997 hit movie "Flames," which he co-starred with Yan, Claudine Barretto, Jolina Magdangal, and Bojo Molina.

"Happiest birthday my brother," he wrote as the caption. "Hinding hindi ko makakalimutan ang mga saya at kalokohan natin, lalo na ang friendship at kabutihan mo."

"I'm sure mas nage-enjoy ka dyan sa langit! Love you bro!"

He then goes on tell Yan that he is currently doing well as an actor and a businessman, as well as an update on their other good friend, Dominic Ochoa, who is running for councilor.

"Bro, mga pangarap natin etong tinutupad namin," he said.

Ochoa also greeted Yan on his birthday on Instagram.

Agustin ended his tribute by saying that working on "Flames" changed his life, thanks to the people like Yan.

Barretto, who dated Yan, has yet to post her own tribute, but she did remember the actor in her heartfelt post about the death of comedian Chokoleit a couple of days ago.

"Paki-hug si Direk Wenn [Deramas] at Rico para sakin. Thank u Choko," she wrote.
