MANILA -- After her breakup with boyfriend Daniel Matsunaga, Erich Gonzales returns on "Maalaala Mo Kaya" on Saturday with a new leading man.

A teaser of the episode was uploaded on the show's offficial Facebook account on Thursday. It features Gonzales as a young mother who has to juggle her responsibilities as a student and a parent.

In the teaser, Gonzales is paired with actor Geoff Eigenmann, who played the third party on Gonzalez and Matsunaga's daytime drama series "Be My Lady."

Eigenmann, who seemed really excited for his "MMK" stint, shared on Instagram a screenshot of the show's teaser, inviting his followers to watch the episode.

Despite having a new leading man, fans of Gonzales seem to be happy that the actress is now back on TV after her trip to the US with Matsunaga.

Before leaving for the US, Gonzales met with ABS-CBN chief content officer Charo Santos-Concio, who is also the host of the country's longest-running drama anthology.

While in the US, Gonzales took some time to de-stress by checking out some of the popular tourist spots. She also tried skydiving in San Diego, California.

In a recent press conference, Matsunaga confessed that he still loves Gonzales, which is making "moving on" more difficult.

"MMK" airs on Saturdays after "Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids."
