Cesar: May ibang motibo si Sunshine

MANILA - Nadagdagan na naman ang kaso na isinampa ni Sunshine Cruz laban sa asawang si Cesar Montano. Pero ngayon, dawit pa ang kanilang tatlong anak.

Pebrero 3, 2015, nag-file si Sunshine ng kasong Violence Against Minor Daughters sa ilalim ng Republic Act 9262 at Republic Act 7610 o Child Abuse sa Quezon City Prosecutor's Office laban kay Cesar.

Ang dahilan: malaswang eksena ni Cesar na 'di umano'y nakita mismo ng kanyang mga anak.

Ayon sa abugado ni Sunshine na si Atty. Bonifacio Alentajan, Cesar "did something obscene in the presence of his three daughters. Nagreklamo ‘yung mga bata. Minabuti ni Sunshine na ipahusgado nalang ito.”

Bwelta naman ng abogado ni Cesar na si Atty. Joel Ferrer: “Cesar categorically denies this. Napaka-imposibleng magawa ‘yan ni Cesar sa mga anak niya. Wala siyang maalalang ganyang sitwasyon except for one he was like fixing his pants.”

Sa statement na ipinadala niya sa ABS-CBN News, diin ni Cesar, ginagamit ni Sunshine ang kanilang anak para sa sariling motibo. Property daw ang puno't dulo ng bagong kaso na isinampa ni Sunshine.

Ani Cesar: “I am grossly disheartened with Sunshine in using our innocent daughters to suit her own ulterior motive. While we are threshing out our property relations in connection with the pending cases we have filed against each other, she is dragging our children to gain leverage on me. Admittedly we have our own differences like any other ordinary couple, but our children should not be affected and worse, be used by anyone of us to force the issues upon each other.

“I must hasten to say that it annoys me to hear that Sunshine filed a complaint against me and immediately thereafter went to the media to announce to the public that a case had been filed against me. Her lawyer even had the temerity to discuss the merits of the complaint.

“Sunshine and her lawyer should realize that the complaint involves our own daughters. As I understand it, the law on VAWC shields the minors, our daughters at that, from public embarrassment, humiliation and ridicule. Don't they realize that they have exposed our daughters to these kinds of situation.”

Dagdag pa ni Cesar, payag daw siyang ibigay kay Sunshine ang kanilang property basta't huwag nang isama pa ang kanilang mga inosenteng anak para lamang makuha ang kanyang gusto.

“I respectfully appeal to Sunshine, if you want the property you have clamoring, then so be it,” sabi ng actor. “I have signed the compromise agreement giving you what you want. But do not and never ever again drag our innocent daughters to settle our differences just to suit your own personal interest.”

Ayon pa kay Ferrer, “Sunshine is taking this as a leverage to force the issue upon Cesar to give in to her demands on that property. It is lamentable na nagagamit ang mga bata dito.”

Itinanggi naman ito ng kampo ni Sunshine. “Walang kinalaman ‘yan,” sabi ni Alentahan. “Hindi puwede i-blackmail, kasi ayaw nga na maglaban-laban ang mag-asawa kasi naapektuhan ang mga bata.”

Maghaharap ang magkabilang kampo sa Marso 2 para sa custody hearing ng mga anak.
