MANILA — K-drama fans have a new series to look forward to on local television, as ABS-CBN announced over the weekend the latest addition to its “Asianovela” offerings.
“Love in Sadness,” which originally aired in South Korea via MBC in 2019, will soon join the Kapamilya network’s TV lineup.
Its schedule has yet to be announced.
“Love in Sadness” follows the story of a woman (Park Han-byul) who escapes an abusive marriage by changing her appearance through plastic surgery, and starting her life with a new identity.

It also stars Ryu Soo-young, Ji Hyun-woo, and Wang Bit-na.
