MANILA — Wishing ill of ABS-CBN means wishing ill of its thousands of its employees behind the scenes, actress Angel Locsin said on Wednesday as she expressed support for the network amid the challenges to its broadcast franchise.

On Instagram, the star of “The General’s Daughter” shared photos of her with crew members of the ABS-CBN series, which ran for nine months until October 2019.

“Isang pakiusap. ‘Think before you click,’” she wrote.

Locsin, a Kapamilya star since 2007, shared that she has formed close relationships and has grown to love many of her fellow employees over the past decade.

While she has yet to renew her contract with ABS-CBN as she starts focusing on her upcoming wedding with filmmaker Neil Arce, Locsin added that “these men will always be my family and I will stand by them.”

Addressing those who are vocally wishing the closure of ABS-CBN’s broadcast operations, Locsin wrote: “Bago po tayo magsalita, isiping mabuti kung makakasira ba ito ng buhay ng napakaraming tao.

We have families that rely on us kagaya nyo rin po. Konting pag-unawa lang po. Isang pakiusap,” she said, using that hashtag #NoToABSCBNShutdown.
