MANILA — Actress Yassi Pressman shared her grief on Sunday over the passing of her father, Ronnie Pressman, whom she has openly credited as her motivation for working hard and living a full life.

On Instagram, the “Ang Probinsyano” star shared a video of her dancing with Ronnie and her younger sister, Issa, set to the track “Dance With My Father,” about mourning a loss.

In its caption, she wrote: “This was the last song he heard before we said goodbye… We miss you already, Papa. I don’t know how I am going to live my life without you, Daddy.”

“But, I also know I will never have to, because even if you’re up in heaven, you’ll never leave my side. Love you to the ends of this universe, and back, twice,” Yassi added.

Yassi also shared on Instagram Stories memories with her father, including his fondness for her pet dogs, and his first time at a shooting range at age 88.

Ronnie, who died aged 90 on February 6, had been a visible figure in the public lives of his celebrity daughters, as they would cite him as their source of strength and inspiration.

In 2018, Ronnie even joined Yassi in a televised interview on “Magandang Buhay,” where they shared an emotional moment.

At the time, Yassi couldn’t contain her tears as she was asked for a message to her father.

“I’m just going to promise that I will always take care of you, because you’re my Papito, you’re my ‘macho.’ You just promise to be strong always,” she said.

Ronnie responded: “I will. That’s to show my appreciation for your presence. I will, I will, I will.”
