MANILA – Some netizens were surprised after Sebastian “Baste” Duterte said on social media that he never broke up with his longtime girlfriend Kate Necesario.

This after a Facebook user asked him to get back together with Necesario now that he and actress Ellen Adarna have already called it quits.

Responding to the netizen, Duterte wrote: “Wala mi nagbulag ni kate. Mao tong isa wa kaantos sige kog awayun maong ning batsi ko ato niya.”

(Hindi kami naghiwalay ni Kate. Kaya yung isa hindi nakatiis lagi akong inaaway kaya umalis ako sa kanya.)

Another netizen urged Duterte not to look for anybody else since Necesario is one kind and pretty lady.

To which, the youngest son of the President replied: “Wa man ko nangita. Gachill ra man ako.”

(Hindi naman ako naghahanap. Chill lang ako.)

Duterte and Necesario have a two-year-old son, Yair.

Last Sunday, Adarna opened up about her past relationship with Duterte. According to Adarna, Duterte started to court her after his father took his oath as the president of the Philippines.

Although they already broke up in December, Adarna said she and Duterte remain on good terms, saying his former boyfriend is already like her best friend.
