She's not afraid to admit she was heartbroken over her previous relationship.

And Angelica Panganiban said the pain she felt has led to her becoming more cautious when it comes to loving again.

"Hindi ko pa nakikita iyong sarili ko sa isang relationship ulit," she told "Tonight With Boy Abunda" on Friday.

"Mahirap magsalita ng tapos pero gusto ko lang i-ready iyong sarili ko kasi pakiramdam ko na iyong susunod ay siya na."

Panganiban last dated John Lloyd Cruz, now rumored to be expecting a baby with Ellen Adarna.

The "Ang Dalawang Mrs. Reyes" star added that she wants to be "whole" again before she starts dating anew.

"Gusto ko na kung ano iyong naibigay ko sa mga taong napagbigyan ko ng pagmamahal, gusto ko maibigay ko dito sa mas deserving," she explained.

Panganiban was on the show with co-star Judy Ann Santos to promote their new movie, where they play discarded wives whose husbands are having an affair with each other.

The Star Cinema flick, directed by Jun Robles Lana of "Die Beautiful" fame, has so far received positive reviews from critics and fans since its premiere last January 17.
