MANILA – After the success of “Vince & Kath & James,” Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia are teaming up again for another big project.

In an interview at the sidelines of their movie’s thanksgiving party, Garcia confirmed that he and Barretto will star in another movie but didn't give details about the follow-up project.

“Meron po kaming gagawing movie. Sana suportahan niyo din katulad ng pagsuporta niyo sa ‘Vince & Kath & James,’” he said.

With all the blessings coming their way, Garcia said pursuing Barretto in real life hasn’t crossed his mind yet.

“Sa amin ngayon, focused kami sa binibigay na trabaho. Kasi sayang 'yung ibinibigay. Ang tagal naming hinintay ito. Siguro kung manligaw man ako, dadating 'yun sa tamang panahon. Hindi pa ngayon. Ipon muna bago ligaw,” he said.

Meanwhile, Barretto appreciates how Garcia values the close friendship that they have built.

“Siyempre that’s good na he’s brave enough to be vocal about how he feels about things, may it be a person, may it be a thing. Importante kasi na napapaalam mo sa mga tao, sa mundo kung ano talaga ang nasa puso mo, may it be about somebody, about work or kahit ano. It’s very brave of Josh,” she said.

Asked if she also considers Garcia as someone special, Barretto said, laughing: “Maybe [I’ll answer that question] when I’m not beside Joshua anymore. Next time na lang 'yang tanong na 'yan.”

According to Star Cinema, “Vince & Kath & James,” which also stars Ronnie Alonte, earned P123 million worldwide during its entire theatrical run.
