MANILA -- Remember the video of James Reid and Nadine Lustre arguing during the premier night of "Wang Fam" back in 2015? Now it can be told what really happened that night.

The two revealed what really happened in an interview on the late night show "Gandang Gabi Vice" Sunday.

According to Lustre, they started arguing because she came in late for the movie premiere, not knowing that everyone was waiting for her and Reid before they start showing the movie.

"Na-late kami parehas, pero nauna siyang dumating. So pagdating ko dun, galit na galit siya. 'Yun pala kasi inaantay na dumating kami bago mag-start," she said.

"So, galit ako. And I said, 'I hope it's worth it.' Kasi I felt embarrassed that everyone was waiting for us in the cinema. They wouldn't play the movie until we got there so I felt embarrassed for both of us," Reid added.

The two consider the argument a turning point in their relationship, first as merely an onscreen love team, then as a real-life couple.
