As fans crave high-octane action, Mars Ravelo’s Darna satisfies with cinematic fight scenes and adventures. That’s what you get when you put a skilled powerhouse cast in adrenaline-rushing scenarios. Check out the series’ most heart-stopping fight scenes, so far, via this Kapamilya Toplist.

One of the best parts of this new-gen Darna series transpired during the pilot episode wherein teenage Narda (Jane de Leon) trained to become a warrior with her mom Leonor (Iza Calzado). Young Narda was reluctant, but that slick backflip convinced her mother that she was ready for her heroic responsibilities.

Iza embodied grace and strength by toppling down a sentient robot, one of her biggest fights as the First Darna. Apart from the enthralling choreography, the Kapamilya actress herself was able to showcase her character’s fierceness. In another fight scene leading to her death, Leonor proved herself a badass fighter as she wrestled with the ‘extras’ even in human form.

Even before inheriting the powerful white stone, young Narda had proven her strength in random situations like saving Brian (Joshua Garcia) from Noah (Paolo Gumabao)’s gang. Inevitably, she evolved into a tough woman with a strong instinct to protect other people. Despite snubbing her fate as the next Darna at the time, Narda’s natural heroic qualities appear in times of threat, such as when she chased and fought a thief.

This series also has the most unique take on Ding (Zaijian Jaranilla)’s character. He has special skills and also participates in the action. He impressed us during his training with Master Klaudio (Joko Diaz), an ‘extra’ in disguise. In another scene, Master Klaudio stole Ding’s identity and fought a group of guys as part of a bigger ploy.

As soon as Narda got the magical white stone back, we knew we were in for more exciting action. One of the most badass we’ve seen was Narda and Ding’s encounter with Master Klaudio in the woods. Master Klaudio deceived Ding but Narda came to the rescue. As thrill builds up, she asked Ding to give her the stone and it was the first time she transformed into Darna in front of her brother.

More heart-stopping scenes came as Narda fully embarked on her journey as Babaeng Lumilipad. Making it to this list is the warehouse action wherein Narda managed to save herself and the other girls from a syndicate. The cops led by Brian also exchanged bullets with the captors, making for more cinematic visuals.

Killer Ghost (Christian Bables) provided suspense when he managed to repeatedly escape Darna, thanks to his intangibility. But, with Brian’s effort, the villain ultimately faced his death. ‘Extras’ Klaudio and Xandra (Kim Rodriguez) likewise served with propulsive combat, although it was halted by Planet Marte’s ultimate bad guy, General Borgo. Having survived that death-defying act, Klaudio sought help from Lolo Rolando (Levi Ignacio), who, surprisingly, also knows how to throw punches.

Catch more action in Mars Ravelo’s Darna, weeknights, on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, and A2Z.
