Darna surprises netizens with a live gap show for Super Finale

Jane de Leon’s <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/darna" target="_blank">Mars Ravelo’s Darna</a> series truly made history with an<a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/darna/articles-news/review-teamwork-benevolence-conquered-evil-in-super-finale-of-mars-ravelos-darna-19015" target="_blank"> explosive, beautifully crafted finale episode</a>. The question now is: How do we move on from a world without Darna and Nueva Esperanza? For us viewers who can’t get enough of the amazing show, let us check out these stolen moments of the Darna cast and creatives during their thanksgiving mass and finale watch party last night (February 10). Present in the thanksgiving mass and party are Darna stars Jane, Janella Salvador, Zaijian Jaranilla, Rio Locsin, Paolo Gumabao, Richard Quan, Simon Ibarra, Jeffrey Santos, Erik Fructuoso, Joj Agpangan, Kira Balinger, Mutya Orquia, Levi Ignacio, and more. The cast members were given the chance to say their thank-you messages. Jane, whose life has changed and career has soared higher after bagging the coveted role, turned emotional as she expressed her gratitude. Directors Avel Sunpongco, Benedict Mique, and Darnel Villaflor came in full force, plus Chito Roño, who helmed the show’s first two weeks. In some snaps, we see Direk Chito and Jane’s interactions and we can sense how proud he is of the new-gen Darna. He even asked Jane to join him while he imparts his message. JRB Creative Production team headed by Julie Ann R. Benitez, and ABS-CBN bosses Carlo Katigbak, Cory Vidanes and Lauren Dyogi were also spotted in the back-to-back events. Netizens were treated to fun surprises as the Darna Super Finale gap show aired in-between commercial breaks on <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/articles-news/everything-you-need-to-know-about-kapamilya-channel-12340" target="_blank">Kapamilya Online Live</a>. Hosted by Joj, the gap show had Jane, Janella, Zaijian, Rio, LA, and Paolo, as well as the directors interviewed and read real-time tweets.
