Exciting news, techie fashionistas! Iconic audio brand, JBL, recently launched their newest audio innovation: The JBL Soundgear Frames–stylish pairs of sunglasses with built-in ultra-thin speakers powered by JBL OpenSound technology. Stylish and functional? We’re sold!
What’s it like wearing them? We tested them for a day and found them extremely comfortable, just like wearing regular sunglasses. Each pair is made with thermoplastic materials which makes it light, slim, and comfortable to wear. Plus, they really look good, too. The Soundgear Frames come in two shapes–round and square, and three colors–pearl (clear transparent), onyx (dark gray transparent), and amber (gold transparent). The 8-hour battery life is particularly impressive considering the compact size of the sunglasses. You can also do a number of commands like adjusting the volume, answering calls, or skipping songs by tapping the JBL logos on both sides of the frames. This made the experience even better because we didn’t have to pull our phones out to do simple commands like skipping to the next song.
