With how flawlessly beautiful she is inside and out, there’s definitely no doubt that her name suits Belle Mariano so well. But aside from her captivating splendor, she’s also able to win our hearts with how talented she is, for she can sing, dance, and act!

As she turned 22 on June 10, let’s celebrate her by looking back on her impressive acting journey in this Kapamilya Time-List feature!

Those who were able to follow her showbiz career through the years would certainly know that Belle is among the Kapamilya stars whose ticket to the industry was her stint in the long-running kiddie gag show Goin’ Bulilit. In the three years that she was there, from 2012 to 2015, she was able to charm us with her cuteness as she showed off her talents in singing, dancing, and acting.

Her teleserye debut was Princess and I, herein she played the young Bianca (Bianca Casado), the eldest stepsister of Kathryn Bernardo’s character, Mikay. It was succeeded by Lorenzo’s Time, in which she portrayed not just one but two roles: Charie Gonzales and young Kat-Kat Gonzales (Carmina Villarroel), who were both love interests of the titular character played by Zaijian Jaranilla.

Belle went on to appear in a slew of teleseryes as the young counterparts of the adult actresses, such as young Sarah (Julia Montes) in Muling Buksan ang Puso (2013), as young Prinsesa Mira (Shaina Magdayao) in Juan Dela Cruz (2013), as young Rachel (Shaina) in Nathaniel (2015), as young Tiffany (Bianca Manalo) in On The Wings of Love (2015), as young Grace (Jessy Mendiola) in You’re My Home (2015), as young Norma (Arci Muñoz) in Pasion de Amor (2015), and as young Gloria (Dimples Romana) in Bagani (2018).

She also got cast as a supporting act in Hawak Kamay (2014) as Cherry, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano (2015) as Rachel Tuazon, La Luna Sangre (2017) as Jan-Jan, Playhouse (2018) as Ja, and Kadenang Ginto (2019). At the same time, she has appeared in several episodes of Maalaala Mo Kaya, such as “Pasa” (2013), “Pagkain” (2014), “Toothbrush” (2016), “Pregnancy Test” (2019), and “Singsing” (2021).

A year prior to her 10th anniversary in the local entertainment scene, Belle finally got her biggest break in 2021 when she was chosen to take on the role of Maxpein in the TV adaptation of the teen novel He’s Into Her, in which she was paired with her current loveteam partner, Donny Pangilinan. It was indeed a huge success, as it had a second season.

And in 2023, she scored her first-ever lead role in a regular teleserye through Can’t Buy Me Love, in which she impressed us with her portrayal of the fierce and defiant lead female protagonist Caroline “Ling” Tiu.

Indeed, from being a charming bulilit who used to endear us with her cuteness and talent, she has become one of the most sought-after young stars and promising leading ladies of her generation, catapulting herself into a certified “Gen Z royalty”!
