Kapamilya artist Gello Marquez is booked and busy, balancing his schedule for promotions for “Can’t Buy Me Love,” where he portrays the character Koriks, alongside performing for StarPop’s campus tours.

Gello is passionate about acting and performing, and he's stoked to be doing both at once. He spilled in this Kapamilya Chat episode that he's enjoying the StarPop campus tours, which take him back to his fun days as a student.

Meanwhile, he’s also happy to be part of “Can’t Buy Me Love.” Just being on the top-rated series is already a significant experience, but finding a new family with the cast takes the honor much, much higher.

As the series nears its finale, the cast members are feeling a bit sad, especially since the 'Binondo' group has only recently started bonding with the Tiu family from the show's other unit. Despite the sepanx, they're glad the show is ending on a high note.

He’ll cherish their food adventures during their shoots in Binondo, renowned for its diverse Chinese cuisine. Plus, their core memories of jamming inside the tent while waiting for the cameras to start rolling.

On what he’ll miss about Koriks, he thought of how easily Koriks can be bribed with a little cash to let Bingo (Donny Pangilinan) borrow his motorcycle. But mostly, he'll just miss hanging out with the Binondo crew.

If he could send a message to Koriks, he'd say, "Magbago ka na," meaning not to get into trouble because of his side gigs. And for his buddies on set, he'd remind them to always take care and let them know he'll cherish them all, especially Anthony Jennings, whom he'll miss the most. He'll miss the whole crew and the routines they've built together, like grabbing lunch as a group.

Since we've got Gello here, who's become one of the closest friends of Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano aka DonBelle, from "He's Into Her," and now co-starring in "Can’t Buy Me Love," we couldn't resist asking him for some juicy trivia about the beloved duo.

First up, he used the word "amusing" to sum up the love team's journey as actors, noting the significant growth he's seen, particularly in Donny's Tagalog skills. Meanwhile, he’s fascinated with Belle’s style of coating her scenes with equal parts intensity and mystery.

With just a handful of episodes left, "Can’t Buy Me Love" continues to keep everyone on the edge of their seats with its never-ending revelations and plot twists. The mystery surrounding who killed Caroline's mom, Divine (Shaina Magdayao), remains unsolved, leaving viewers eagerly anticipating what's in store for the final weeks of the show.

Before wrapping up the interview, Gello fielded questions from Super Kapamilya fans on YouTube. When asked about his dream role, he expressed his interest in rom-coms. As for his dream leading lady, the first person he could think of was Ashley del Mundo, whom he's gotten to know and worked with on "He’s Into Her." He also admires the beauty of BINI Aiah.
