<p>MANILA -- The Board of Investments (BOI) on Thursday said it has certified 126 projects worth P4.13 trillion under its &quot;green lanes&quot; initiative for strategic investments.</p><p>The BOI said P3.74 trillion of the investments are in renewable energy, while P346.33 billion are in digital infrastructure. </p><p>Some P29.61 billion are in manufacturing, while P4.14 billion are in food security. </p><p>Out of 126 certified projects, 43 have been registered with the BOI, representing P1.91 trillion in investments. The remaining 83, worth P2.22 trillion, are in the pipeline for registration. </p><p>In September alone, 11 projects worth P895.76 billion were certified, including a P289 billion offshore wind power project in Ilocos Norte. </p><div><span id="isPasted" style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0);letter-spacing:normal;orphans:2;text-align:start;text-indent:0px;text-transform:none;widows:2;word-spacing:0px;-webkit-text-stroke-width:0px;white-space:normal;text-decoration-thickness:initial;text-decoration-style:initial;text-decoration-color:initial;display:inline !important;float:none">The Philippines, in July 2023 formally launched its “green lanes” for big foreign direct investments in a bid to attract more capital to the country.</span></div><p>Trade Undersecretary and BOI Managing Head Ceferino S.
