<p>MANILA -- Philippine air carriers asserted there are no terminal changes yet at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA). This was after the new operator of NAIA earlier announced possible terminal reassignments in the future.</p><p>Cebu Pacific said all its flights are operating normally at NAIA Terminal 3 for its 5J domestic and international flights, while its CebGo DG flights continue to operate at NAIA Terminal 4.</p><div><a href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/business/2024/9/10/airlines-seek-consultation-on-planned-naia-terminal-reassignment-1526" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Airlines seek consultation on planned NAIA terminal reassignment</a></div><p>Air Asia Philippines also announced it continues to operate its international flights at NAIA Terminal 3 and its domestic flights at NAIA Terminal 2.</p><p>The two airlines also said they welcome the New NAIA Infrastructure Corporation (NNIC) of San Miguel as the new operator of NAIA beginning September 14, 2024. But they also have said they hope for consultations with them before terminal changes are implemented.</p><div><a href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/business/2024/9/12/naia-workers-affected-by-privatization-to-get-incentives-salary-hikes-miaa-1541" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">NAIA workers affected by privatization to get incentives, salary hikes: MIAA</a></div><p>NNIC General Manager Lito Alvarez said earlier that they would implement terminal reassignments, but that would have to be done over many years.</p><p>Alvarez asserted all these are just plans and there is no schedule or date when all this will be implemented.</p><p>For now, terminal assignments are in status quo. Terminal 1 is still for Philippine Airlines international flights and select foreign airlines, Terminal 2 is for PAL domestic and AirAsia domestic, Terminal 3 is for Cebu Pacific international and domestic, AirAsia international and other foreign airlines.
