MANILA -- Manny Villar's Vista Land and Lifescapes said its net income climbed by 11 percent to P6.4 billion in the first half of 2024. Sales also grew by 8 percent to P19.9 billion.

The company said this comes after they launched projects nationwide with a total value of P22.2 billion. Vista Land said this contributed to reservation sales climbing to P39.2 billion, up 10 percent from the same period last year. Real estate revenue hit P9.6 billion, while rental income reached P8.5 billion.

The firm said it now has over 1.6 million square meters of gross floor area across more than 100 commercial properties, including 42 malls, 59 commercial centers, and seven office buildings.  The company said foot traffic is also increasing as more people shop in malls and physical stores.

Vista Land said that it is planning to launch more upscale and residential condominium projects, which they will integrate with commercial spaces in its master planned communities.

The company has a land bank of 2,969 hectares, and is present in 147 cities and municipalities and 49 provinces in the Philippines. Vista Land's net income was at P10.3 billion in 2023.
