In a statement, the shopping mall chain said it has hosted more than 100 weekly job fairs across the country since January 2024.
These job fairs have connected around 70,000 jobseekers with over 4,000 employers.

"The conglomerate earlier launched the Job Opportunities Building Skills (J.O.B.S.) advocacy, which embodies the group’s strong commitment to invest in people and serve as a catalyst to job generation," the company said.

It also noted that it has hired some 10,000 employees on the spot, helping more Filipino families uplift their lives.
SM said it is working with the Private Sector Advisory Council, the Department of Labor and Employment, the Employers Confederation of the Philippines, Jobstreet by SEEK, and the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Philippine Exporters Confederation, and other organizations.
