MANILA (UPDATE 2)  — A Cebu Pacific plane slightly swerved to the grassy portion of a taxiway of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport while repositioning, the Manila International Airport Authority said on Friday.

The MIAA said the Cebu Pacific Air A-321 aircraft was repositioning from Bay 111 to Bay 122A of NAIA Terminal 3 when it swerved.

"There were no passengers or crew onboard and no injuries reported at the time of the incident," the MIAA said.

The MIAA earlier reported that the plane "overshot" the runway.
