MANILA -- Philippine Airlines (PAL) is dropping the fares of its flights in its Independence Day sale from June 3 to 16.

For as low as P208 one-way base fare, passengers can travel from Manila to Busuanga, Puerto Princesa, Antique, Bacolod, Catarman, Calbayog, Cebu, Kalibo, Roxas, Tacloban, Tagbilaran, Davao, and Siargao.

Tourists can also travel from Cebu to Clark, Puerto Princesa, Davao, and Siargao for as low as P208.

Travelers availing of this promo must fly anytime between September 1 and January 31, 2025.

PAL noted that there are also seat sales for other local destinations, but the travel period for this is from August 1 to January 31, 2025. 

Those who want to travel locally after February 1, 2025 can get a seat for as low as P126 one-way base fare. 

Meanwhile, those traveling internationally can get seats for as low as $85 one-way economy base fare.

Those availing of this promo can fly on the following dates:

June 3 to August 31 - China / Hong Kong / Macau / Taiwan / Southeast Asia
June 3 to Sept. 30 - Australia/Papua New Guinea
On or after August 10 - Guam
June 4 to Sept. 30 - Middle East
June 16 to August 31 – Japan
June 3 to October 26 - Korea
Sept. 1 to January 31, 2025 - USA and Canada
Nov. 1 to January 31, 2025 - New York

Those flying later can get special roundtrip economy base fares for as low as USD79 on select international flights.

The travel period is as follows:

On or after Sept.1  - China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Japan, Southeast Asia
On or after Oct. 1 - Australia, Papua New Guinea, Middle East,
On or after Feb.1 - USA/Canada
