MANILA -- BDO has received the 5 Golden Arrow Award--the highest award for good corporate governance--from the Institute of Corporate Directors.

The award is presented to top publicly listed companies who excel in terms of shareholder rights facilitation, equitable treatment of shareholders, transparency and accountability through timely disclosure of information and board performance, and the board’s accountability to the company and the shareholders.

The companies are scored based on their publicly available disclosures. The Golden Arrow Award is presented to top publicly listed companies that achieved a score of at least 80 points in the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard assessment.
