MANILA -- Globe Telecom said it is offering free calling, texting, and charging booths in the towns of Panganiban, Viga, Bagamanoc, and Gigmoto in Catanduanes from November 21 to 23.

The booths will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The firm also said it is restoring its services in Pepito-battered Bicol, Central Luzon, and northern Luzon, where the network was hit by power interruptions.

So far, Globe's services have been fully restored services in Sorsogon, Masbate, and Albay, the telco said.

In a statement, the Ayala-led telco said it is also giving free unlimited calls and texts to victims of typhoons Nika and Ofel in Cagayan, Isabela, and Quirino.

Damaged houses, toppled trees, and electric posts are seen around Caramoran, Catanduanes, a few hours after Super Typhoon Pepito made landfall on November 16, 2024They are also giving free 100MB of data for internet surfing and other apps, and free 100MB for Facebook and Viber to these subscribers.

Globe At Home Prepaid WiFi users, meanwhile, get free 5GB open access data that they may use for three days.

Globe GFiber Prepaid users were also given three days of promo extension, while Globe Postpaid and GFiber Postpaid customers got their payment deadlines extended.

Typhoons Nika, Ofel, and Pepito damaged some P469.8 million in infrastructure in Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, and the Cordilleras, according to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC).
