PAL cancels more flights due to Super Typhoon Pepito

After canceling 11 flights on Saturday, the Philippine Airlines has announced the cancellation of several more flights on Sunday and Monday due to super typhoon Pepito.

The country's flag carrier was forced to postpone over 50 flights from November 16 to 18 as heavy rains and strong winds brought by the typhoon are expected to hit a large portion of the country.  

PAL has already postponed the following flights on Saturday (November 16):

PR2921/2922 Manila-Daraga (Legazpi)-Manila

PAL advised passengers to regularly check the status of their flight through their website or checking advisories their Facebook page. 

The airline said passengers with canceled flights have several options, including:

1. Convert the ticket to non-expiring Travel Credits equivalent to the unused segment of your ticket, excluding Ticketing Service Charge.

2. Rebook or Reroute the ticket to another flight with available space within 60 days from the original flight in the same booking class or higher within the same cabin class.

3. Refund ticket without penalties, excluding Ticketing Service Charge for partially used tickets. Passngers may access the online self-reaccommodation tool for flight rebooking.

PAL said that if passengers' contact details are in their reservations records, they will be informed of the status of their flights via e-mail, telephone call or SMS/text.
