NGCP said specific cities and municipalities affected by the unavailable transmission facility are determined by concerned Distribution Utilities, unless the outage affects the entire franchise area.

Meanwhile, the NEA said it is monitoring 86 electric cooperatives from 52 provinces and 12 regions due to the effects of Kristine.

Fifty electric cooperatives remain in Normal Operation, 29 have reported partial power interruption, while 6 reported total power interruption. One electric cooperative has yet to update the agency on its status, NEA said.

The agency said 970,814 consumer connections need restoration, while initial reports showed an estimated P971,410.60 in damage from four electric cooperatives.
