MANILA — The New NAIA Infrastructure Corp. (NNIC), operator of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), has implemented new protocols for handling VIP services to prevent "misuse" and boost efficiency.

NNIC said in a statement that the previous VIP services, which were available for P800, created potential security risks, operational inefficiencies, and an unfair advantage for those who could afford them.

Under the new measures, NNIC will now implement customized fees for passengers who do not qualify as VIPs or important persons but still seek similar services, including international performers and other prominent individuals.
