MANILA - Ayala Corp on Wednesday said its subsidiary AC Healthcare Holdings Inc has expanded its portfolio by investing in home health AIDE app. The venture is part of AC Health&#x27;s strategy to invest in &quot;health technology solutions&quot; and its vision to improve access to affordable healthcare services among Filipinos, Ayala Corp told the stock exchange. “Aside from developing our own technology solutions, we are also on the lookout for emerging start-ups and entrepreneurs who can disrupt the healthcare industry, &quot; AC Health President and CEO Paolo Borromeo said. <ul class="op-related-articles">	<li><a href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/business/02/27/18/uber-for-doctors-medicine-takes-off-as-tech-moves-healthcare">Uber for doctors, medicine takes off as tech moves healthcare</a></li></ul>Borromeo said AIDE is an excellent platform to connect patients with health providers. With the AIDE app, patients can book doctors, nurses and other medical professionals to render services in their homes. Services include medical consultations, nursing care, physical therapy, caregiving, lab extraction and interpretation, and even veterinary care, AC Health said. AC Health&#x27;s portfolio includes Generika Drugstore, MedGrocer and Vigos Health Technologies, among others.
