MANILA - Samsung said it launched an official store on e-commerce platform Shopee, giving consumers another option to buy its products.

Samsung said products on the official store are guaranteed authentic, ship for free and come with a 7-day return policy.

The South Korean electronics giant also has an official store on Shopee rival Lazada.

"We are pleased to be working with a market leader such as Shopee, who shares the same dedication to customer satisfaction," said Samsung Electronics Philippines marketing manager for online business Fatima Lopez-Brodit.

Shopee is looking for more strategic partnerships like the one with Samsung to grow its platform, said its chief operating officer Terence Pang.

Samsung's Shopee store currently offers its flagship S9 and S9+, the Note 8, S8 and S8+ from last year, tablets, wearables and accessories.
